Why MecoPremium
Conventional Coatings
Classic coatings consist of one layer. After 2 years of natural weathering the minimum retained gloss for RUV-3 coatings is 50% according to norm EN 1396. As UV resistance decreases with matt finishes, the minimum gloss level of these coatings is approx. 30 units.
Unlimited range of colours
MecoPremium coatings consist of two layers, a topcoat and a clearcoat. The topcoat (1) is available in any colour.
High UV Resistance
The clearcoat (2) in smooth polyester (PE) offers an excellent resistance to UV (index RUV4). After 2 years of natural weathering, the retained gloss is 80 % minimum! The high durable MecoPremium coatings are available in very matt to high gloss finishes.
