In collaboration with our paint and aluminium suppliers, our R&D develops new applications. Metalcolor follows the aesthetic and technical trends in modern architecture and proposes innovative solutions adapted to your needs. Environmental protection is the central guideline in the development of our products. We use resources as responsibly as possible and try to reduce waste.
OPTIMISING PERFORMANCE
We are constantly improving our products and processes to make our coatings and manufacturing even more durable.
Various accelerated ageing cycles are performed: UV-A and UV-B chambers are used to measure the UV resistance of the coatings. With our acetic salt spray chambers (Q-FOG), we test the corrosion resistance of our coatings and products under development.
Other equipment, such as Taber Abraser, analytical balance, tensile tester, rapid deformation tester, etc., allow us to check wear resistance, deformation and measure mechanical properties.
COLOUR SERVING TECHNOLOGY
Our laboratory is an essential support to the lacquering lines and quality control. Our coating lines are equipped with various testing devices, such as:
- XRF spectrometry: Measurement of the coating weight of the surface treatment
- Spectrophotometer: measurement of the colour shade
- Isoscope: Measurement of coating thickness
- Glossmeter : Measurement of gloss
- Lineartester: Checking the curing of the paint
