We are constantly testing the durability of our coatings in our lab in order to improve their performance
While some view annual turnover as sufficient evidence of a company’s success, at Metalcolor we also take serious account of our employees, our customers and the environment in which we operate.
ECCA Premium® is a quality and sustainability label for prepainted metal products designed for outdoor applications. Prepainted indoor products fulfilling the requirements can also be awarded this label.
The requirements are divided into four categories:
The label is only granted to coil coaters who have passed rigorous inspections performed by duly certified independent auditing bodies, certifying that the products fulfil the requirements and test standards according to EN 1396, EN 10169 and EN 13523.
The requirements of the international ISO 9001 standard involve:
ISO 45001 is a recognised system for managing occupational health and safety by controlling and systematically managing potential dangers and the associated risks. We endeavour to offer a secure and healthy work environment throughout the company.
ISO 14001 provides practical tools to manage environmental responsibilities involving the formulation of objectives and putting in place an environmental policy.
ISO 50001 provides guidance on putting an effective energy management system in place in order to enhance energy efficiency. This tool enables us to optimise energy costs and reduce our impact on global warming.
Ecology is an important aspect of METALCOLOR’s success. In an effort to achieve our ecological objectives, the Company introduced the environmental management system ISO 14001 in 2009. The Company has always defended the principle of eliminating pollution at its source and our production and handling methods are geared to that end.
METALCOLOR’s Environmental Plan defines ecological goals in terms of lowering energy consumption and reducing CO2 emissions while increasing production output. Our company is a member of the Swiss Energy Saving Agency, an organization created by the Swiss Federal Government to aid companies in implementing realistic energy-reduction projects. We have defined ambitious targets and made a formal engagement with the Swiss Authorities concerning reductions in energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
The Cybersafe label certifies the implementation of responsible cybersecurity management. It demonstrates a proactive approach to IT risk and demonstrates that the concrete measures required by the label have been implemented:
We are constantly testing the durability of our coatings in our lab in order to improve their performance...
We are continuously refining the properties of our coil coatings to provide custom finishes and an unlimited range of colours adaptable to numerous applications...
